Jules is now 4 years old, founded by Julian Faulkner who began his winemaking career 10 years ago running his family estate in Provence . The motivation behind Jules is to offer the best value wines possible wherever they may be found. By value, we mean price for drinking pleasure as opposed to price for brand or appellation recognition. So don't expect to see any very prestigious wine regions in our catalogue and don't be surprised to see names of grapes or regions that you have never heard of. We are unimpressed by all the hype surrounding some wines and regions: we firmly believe that you don't have to spend a lot of money to enjoy great wines.



Some of our wines are one-off opportunities with wine producers while others are based on long term collaboration agreements with grape growers or wine producers. We are therefore flexible to source our wines wherever the best value and quality can be found on a particular vintage and scale up or down according to customer demand. Most of the producers we work with are small and hands-on but we do work with bigger producers when necessary. Most of our wines are certified by a strict environmental charter.
